ADOPT A BETTA

In order to adopt a betta, I have a few requirements for my future adopters:

1. You must have a cycled tank of at least 5 gallons in size (if your tank is not yet cycled, you must have one that is currently cycling and I can hold the fish for you until it is      completely cycled if you have been approved). If your tank has future tankmates for your betta fish, it must have happy and compatible tank mates. This includes owning        a test kit in order to monitor these water parameters. 

2.  You must either be at least 18 years old or supply me with the contact information of your parent or guardian. 

3. You must be prepared for a fish friend for 8+ years! Bettas can live for a long time if properly cared for. 

4. You must have a proper heater, filter, healthy food, and plenty of hiding spaces for your fish. This means no painted decorations or rocks that can leach toxins into the            water and poison your fish. 

5. If you are getting your fish shipped to you, somebody needs to be home to bring the package inside when the fish arrives.

If you are looking to adopt, I will require you to fill out the adoption application below. If there are no fish available but you would still like to adopt, please fill it out and I will place you on my waitlist if you have been approved! If you do not have access to google forms, please contact me and I will send you the questions. You can type them out and send them back to me.
